We'll preview the USFL championship matchup between the Maulers and Stallions as Birmingham looks to win their second straight title. Week 8: McGough Magic for the Stallions over the Stars; Breakers bounce back and Showboats hit 5 straight

Alex McGough's heroics lifted the Stallions over the Stars in a championship game rematch. The Breakers snap a three-game slide, while the Showboats hit 5 straight wins. The Gamblers stay in the South Division race with a one-point win over the Maulers. We'll break down all the games and look ahead to week 9 as the playoff picture remains up for grabs.

Week 7: Stallions back on top, Showboats and Stars keep winning, Panthers snap losing streak

The Stallions once again lead the South Division after a revenge win over the Breakers while the Showboats notched their 4th win in a row, and the Stars' offense finally stopped being offensive en route to a 3rd straight victory. The Panthers snapped a 4-game losing streak while helping the Generals further their own skid. The Breakers are looking for answers despite great stats but three losses in a row and the Maulers might be falling back to earth. 

Week 6: Gamblers win 4th straight; Showboats take 3 in a row; Stars lead the North

After Week 6, there's a three-way tie atop the South Division as the Gamblers bang out their fourth win in a row while the Showboats are .500 after a third straight win. In the North Division, chaos is still the rule but the Stars are now in first place after winning back-to-back games without scoring an offensive touchdown. We break down all the games and look ahead with a Week 7 preview.

Week 5: Anarchy in the USFL - Showboats shock Breakers; the North breaks wide open

This past week in the USFL was one for the books - literally. The North Division has a 4-way tie for first place with everyone 2-3, the Showboats upset the undefeated Breakers and the Stars gave the Generals the boot with a record 8 field goals. Not to mention the Maulers pounded the Panthers led by their offensive player of the week (Pittsburgh? Yep) and the Gamblers are now winners of 3 in a row taking down the Stallions.

Week 4 - Gamblers come up aces, Breakers stay unbeaten, Stallions win a nail-biter

We recap the big 3 storylines of the weekend and review the Top 8 Power Rankings with game recaps. The Gamblers blew the doors off the struggling Stars, the Breakers beat the Generals in a battle of division leaders, the Stallions survived the Maulers' upset bid and the Showboats shocked the Panthers. Week 3 - Breakers blast the Stallions, Generals make a statement, and Gamblers win thriller

The New Orleans Breakers are the last undefeated team after beating the Stallions in style; the Generals grabbed the North Division lead beating down the Panthers; the Gamblers win in the last seconds against the Showboats; the Maulers shut down the Stars.
